As Promised... Picture Overload

The inspection went well. As expected, we have pages and pages of little things to work on. Our major concerns are the water heater and the furnace, so we will be discussing those with the seller. Here are some better pics of the house.

The entryway. We'd like to replace all the carpet with wood in this house too, so matching this hardwood may prove a little difficult. It's pretty though.

Standing in the living room, looking up at the stairs.

Standing in the door to the dining room, looking into the kitchen.

The half bath. I like the pedestal sink. ;)

The den in the back of the house... and my fantastic helper, G.G.

The master.

The master bath.

One of two walk in closets in the master bath.

Standing at the back corner of the back yard.

The koi pond. Otherwise known by me as "all the hazards of a pool with none of the fun." ;)

And, because I have to throw in some pics of my beautiful children on the Fourth...
Here's Will...

and Jack-Jack...

3714 Wood Dale

Tentatively, it appears we will be residents of Greentree Village in Kingwood. I say "tentatively" because we have our inspection tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. We are praying that all goes well and that we will be closing on both our "old" home and our "new" home on August 7. I find it a bit funny that our "old home" has been in existence for 9 years, while our "new" home was built in 1980, just a few years before I arrived in Kingwood when I was 7. The kids will be attending the first elementary school I went to in Kingwood, along with the same middle school and the same high school. Will tells me he will also be going to the "Bevo School," but I'll give him a few more years to decide before I lock him into that choice. ;) We drove them by the school the other day and everyone was very excited to see the climbing wall on the playground. I think that climbing wall, along with the fact that the house is a TWO story, sold them on this house immediately. Fortunately, they have agreed on who gets which bedroom. Will gets the largest one. Molly gets the one with the desk. And, poor Jack gets stuck with the small one that has no built-ins. The perils of only being able to say ten words. I'll attach a few pics from the realty website below. They are small, but you can get an idea what the house looks like. Dave is going to have fun mowing our huge yard. You will all have to come over to take a ride on his riding mower! ;) I'll take some more of my own pics tomorrow at the inspection. Pray all goes well!!!
